AI and robotics were a huge theme this year. Brands tapping an undercurrent of public anxiety? Maybe. Or maybe just a reflection that it’s often the tech brands these days who have the money to spend on big-ticket marketing and high concept ad buys. The high concept here is all the prototype devices Amazon didn’t make when they made the Echo – which lets them jump around between scenes and gags. Harrison Ford’s pet dog steals the show and the ad lands at a very strong 4-Stars.
