Our Opinion

In Indonesian, ‘siap sekolah’ means ‘ready for school.’ This sweet ad by Nestlé Indonesia features dozens of Indonesian children who drink DANCOW Fortigro to help get ready for school. The translation is both literal and metaphorical – the children drink Fortigro as part of their breakfast and morning routine before school, but also drink it as a means of fortifying healthy habits and growing stronger and smarter. The ad features a cute song sung by children about getting ready for school and their daily routines. There are different shots of the children getting ready, playing at school, learning in supportive and cooperative environments, and participating in extracurricular activities, all set to the sweet upbeat, catchy song. It’s easy to laugh and bob along to the music and the joy on the children’s faces. You may even have the song stuck in your head for the rest of the day – but with such an emotional ad accompanying the song, you’ll smile while you sing along.
