A second appearance on the list for Netto, with this sharp, cute and very funny 30-second spot, showing two kids happily playing shop… until one of them realises he can get the stuff cheaper at Netto. What makes this ad is its narrative execution, in particular the final howl of rage from the little girl after the brand is identified. It’s a great illustration of the “Peak-End Rule” – save one of your best moments for last, to make a long-term emotional impression.
