Our Opinion

We’re not saying that the Antarctic temperatures of the Polar Vortex weather event earlier in the week got Norwegian Cruises a 5-Star ad… but let’s face it, it can’t have hurt. The cruise line has taken a direct but effective route to happiness – lavish shots, people having fun, a reminder of warmer and happier times which strikes just the right notes for the chilly beginning of February. It’s not subtle, but it did the job and underscores the power of context in building emotion.
