Our Opinion

We all know cleaning product demonstration ads, and we all know they’re not usually 5-Star efforts. Brazil’s Veja Gold does things differently, though, with its grease-monkey hero told by his boss to clean up their body shop. With the help of 80s rock classic “Maniac” – and some gravity-defying special effects – he does so. What makes this a 5-Star ad? “Guy cleans garage” isn’t the most thrilling of stories on paper, but a likeable (and easy on the eye!) lead character, and an excellent use of soundtrack make this something special.
