Whether on TV, video pre- or mid-rolls or social media, short video ads have rarely been in higher demand. But it’s still unusual for short videos to hit the emotional heights of their longform counterparts. That is beginning to change, though – Pedigree’s 15-second spot, part of a campaign showing puppies as athletes, scored 5-Star Happiness levels with a great idea, rapid-fire execution and a winning use of its canine stars.
