Our Opinion

Movie trailers are a big part of Super Bowl night, but as they are deliberately teasing an experience rather than providing one in their own right, they don’t usually score that well. It’s a sign of the strength of the Avengers brand that Marvel Studios have built that a trailer for Avengers: Endgame can score 3-Stars, especially as the previous Avengers film ended on… something of a downer, let’s say. Audiences here are responding to the anticipated experience of seeing an Avengers film, as much as the trailer content – which should make Marvel Studios very happy.
